Meet the Writers

Four players, four very different playstyles. Every guide on this site is written by one of them, from their own matches — including the losses. If you disagree with something, it's probably a real opinion, not a summary.

MC

Marcus Chen

PvP & combat modes — Bed Wars, Sky Wars, The War, Raid

Marcus got into cube games through Bed Wars and never really left the combat modes. He keeps notes on weapon costs and armor break-points in a spreadsheet nobody asked for, and his guides tend to obsess over the first 90 seconds of a match — because in his experience that's where most games are actually decided.

Pet peeve: teammates who bridge straight at the strongest island. Current project: figuring out whether the Raid airdrop economy actually rewards aggression or just punishes greed.

SR

Sofia Reyes

Building & creative modes — Creative, Build Battle, Dress Up, Custom Games, Sandbox

Sofia is the one who joins a PvP lobby and immediately starts judging the map's architecture. She writes about the building side of cube games: Creative projects, Build Battle under time pressure, and the strange, wonderful politics of Dress Up voting. She has abandoned more half-finished mega-builds than she'd like to admit.

Strong opinion she will defend: symmetry is overrated, and most Build Battle rounds are lost in the first 30 seconds of indecision, not the last 30 seconds of detailing.

DP

Danny Park

Movement & reflex modes — Parkour, Spleef, TNT Run, One Block

Danny plays the modes where hesitation kills you. He's the site's parkour completionist and the person we send into new minigames first, mostly because he doesn't mind failing a jump two hundred times to learn its timing. His guides focus on the small mechanical habits that separate a decent run from a clean one.

Also writes our beginner-facing articles, on the theory that someone who still remembers being terrible is more useful than someone who's forgotten.

PN

Priya Nair

Social & team modes — Hide & Seek, Murder Mystery, Infection, Steal a Pet, team strategy

Priya cares less about aim and more about people: why lobbies panic, why teams fall apart, how a good bluff wins Murder Mystery rounds that raw skill can't. She's the resident student of social-deduction modes and the unofficial team-comms coach for the rest of the group.

Known for pausing mid-match to take notes when a stranger does something clever, which has cost her at least a few wins.

How these guides get written

Each guide is written by whoever actually mains that mode, based on their own recent matches. When the game updates and something in a guide stops being true, we fix it and note the update date on the article. If you spot something outdated before we do, tell us — genuinely, that's the fastest way these get better.

We don't claim to be the best players on the server. We claim to have made most of the mistakes already, and written them down.
